For many years if you needed camera repair, you would seek out Albert Partenheimer, Al is not only a graduate of the old Evansville College but in addition received specialized training in camera repair while working in the camera department at Smith and Butterfield’s. Al started Camera Engineers where he sold film and cameras and helped many photographers with their repairs. His store was located in the shopping center at Covert and Lodge. through the 1960’s and 1970s. He finally sold the business to his assistant and began a 26 year career as an accountant for SIGECO. Now retired Albert and wife Lillian are enjoying retirement near Rockport IN.
