In high school, I dreamed about becoming an 18 wheeler Truck Driver or a lawyer. However, I became a mom of 7 children and settled in for the long haul of being a housewife of 30 years. Confusing isn’t it? So where did becoming a photographer blossom? I chalk it up to my seven kids by photographing their growing years. After my seventh child turned 3, I decided to have a love affair with college and earned my A.A.S degree in photography at Ivy Tech here in Evansville, but no that wasn’t enough I went on to play with a B.S. degree in Art at USI. I locked in (or was it lucked in?) to this wonderful and exciting life as a Campus Photographer at University of Southern Indiana.

My love affair with photography started with a Canon EOS 650 that my husband bought. I took my love with me to college and it has also traveled with me to the temples in Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and Spain. It has sisters also, an EOS 3, and a Canon RT.

"Photos is my way of seeing through God’s eyes the beauty He has created and memories He has given me.” To capture life and my journey is to learn, to grow, to love, and to explore the world and myself." This is my philosophy, and my photography is a tool to that end.
