Dave Kissel |
| Hi, I'm David Kissel. Most people just call me Dave. I am
an Evansville resident and grew up on the Westside of Evansville in the
St. Joe area. I spent six years in the Army Reserves and was stationed at
Fort Polk, Louisiana. I spent twenty-five years working as a miller for
Nunn Milling Company, and now work for DSM Plastics.
Photography is my passion and I have spent years learning the craft. I have always enjoyed taking pictures. I enjoy shooting with black and white film and have always been an Ansel Adams fan. I also enjoy doing Macro floral shots and garden shots. With my quality cameras and various lenses, I can do for flowers what the Hollywood photographers do for the big name movie stars… present them in a flattering light. I also have a small business I have named Crockett and Fox Photography.
I go around town taking pictures of local interest spots, nostalgic and
historical places, and make Evansville post cards with these shots. These
cards are sold in various retail outlets in Evansville including the Visitor
and Convention Bureau (Pagoda Building) and the Airport gift shop, among
others. |
