In 1908 Raliegh A Mason formed a partnership with Charles Randall in a photographic Studio at Fifth and Main Streets. Less than two years later Mason bought Randall's interest in the business and continued on his own untill he became ill. In 1925 Mr mason was married to the former Miss Adalia DeVos and the Mason Studio moved to its present location. Mrs Mason joined her husband in the photography business in 1927 and since his illness had been conducting it alone. Death came to Mr Mason following nearly nine years of illness Untill October 1935 he had been active in the Mason Studio at Fourth and main streets A native of Shetlerville IL Mr Mason came to Evansville at 14 yrs. He was a graduate of the Curoick and Wilson Business College |
