William Ritter...he was pretty old when I met him years ago. I don't have any examples of his
work , but I do have a nice "street portrait" of him he allowed me to shoot some 25 years ago. He was so neat...shot pictures of neighbor kids on a pony untill the pony passed on. Before he did that he worked the East coast as a photographer....and the coolist thing was when he was at the event at Niagra Falls when they flew a kite across the river to string the first phone cable? from the US to Canada....I've read an account of this event before somewhere....anyway...there was a big celebration/dance at the event and the girl he had a date with stood him up...he said he later found out that she went to the dance with Rudie Valley? (not sure thats how you spell his
name)...and being that he was a fan of his...Mr. Ritter seemed quite pleased.
