Ansel Wallace was with the expeditionary forces in Mexico
in the attempt to capture Pancho Villa and served during WW1. Returning
to Evansville after the war to start a commercial photography studio with
his father John M Wallace and his brother Harry J Wallace. The studio
was located at 626 Court St. It was known as Wallace and Sons photographers.
