The Photographers

 

After three years in Japan studying photography and thirty years of award winning service with newspapers, Randy knows good pictures! He held positions as a photojournalist, photo department manager, picture editor, graphics editor & director while receiving over 250 photo and design awards, some generating international acclaim.

One of his photographs became the icon for the International Shriners in 1970. It is the template for statues erected at Shrine Temples and their Children’s Hospitals across the United States.

Michael Pugh has received numerous awards from organizations such as United Press International, The Associated Press, Atlanta Press Photographers Assn. Ohio News Photographers Assn. the NFL, Ilford Inc. He has been named Georgia Photographer of the Year 3-times. In 1988, Pugh received the Special Recognition Award for outstanding achievements in career presented by Dr. David Rice, President, and The University of Southern Indiana.

William Snyder, a four-time Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist has traveled many miles and covered a myriad of assignments.

He began shooting photographs for The Gleaner in his hometown of Henderson, KY at the age of 14 and rode his bicycle to assignments or hitched a ride with his mother.

He graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with highest honors and a BS in photography. He recently returned to RIT to teach and is the Chair of the Photojournalism program.
