There are many accomplished photographers who either learned or further developed their craft in the Evansville area. This event, by Evansville area resident photographers and the arts community, is to invite several of these artisans to return to our community for the purpose of renewing friendships, sharing memories, teaching aspiring student and amateur photographers, having fun, and giving back to the community through which they ventured in their professional and personal lives.
Exhibiting Photographers:

Randy Dieter - Former Evansville newspaper photographer whose career has spanned 30
years and is now in Cincinnati. http://www.myspace.com/rdimages or http://www.facebook.com/search/?q=randy+dieter&init=quick

We would like to make this an annual event. Last year Reed Hoffmann was our guest and the event was a great success. Reed is known for his work as a digital consultant and trainer, and a world class photographer. His work was shown at the Evansville Art Guild Southwest Indiana Arts Council’s Bower-Suhrheinrich Gallery, (an upscale gallery setting) where Reed presented his photographs and explained how he came to make those images. He was introduced at a public photography discussion held at the Indiana Vocational Technical College campus which was attended by several hundred people. He also spoke at the photography class at his old high school. Mr Hoffmann offered a Master Class to aspiring college photographers, and was recognized at a public reception attended by members of the arts and civic community of Evansville.
